Initial Call
  • We will ask for the following information upon your initial call to Chef’s Choice Catering: your name, contact name (if different from person calling), customer address, customer phone number, alternate phone number, e-mail address, day-of-event phone number, event date, event location, meal serving time, style of service (delivery & setup, serviced, buffet, seated served, etc.), approximate number of guests, & your budget considerations
  • We do not sell or keep any personal information on file; all of this information is to better help us quote services for your event
Proposals
  • Once we receive the above information, we will create a proposal specific to your event & will send you the proposal by e-mail, fax or mail, whichever preference you have given us
  • All charges will be listed on the proposal - any rental items will also be on the proposal – please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about what is included & what is not included on the proposal
Contracts
  • We would be more than happy to put together a contract for your event to secure the date & the prices - we do require a signed & dated contract to be on file in our office in order for the event to be booked
  • For large events & all weddings, the final count is due (14) days prior to the event date & the final payment is due in our office (10) days before the event date - final payments may be paid by credit card, cashier’s check or money order
  • For all remaining events, the final count is due (3) days prior to the event date & the event will be billed in full on the day of the event
  • Any cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will be billed for the full amount of the event
  • No changes are able to be made on any orders placed within 48 hours of the event date
Payments
  • Events may be paid by credit card, unless specific arrangements have been made with your Event Specialist, & this credit card is required to be given at the time of the contract signing - Chef’s Choice Catering accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover & American Express – charges will be billed on the day of the event
  • For large events, we do require deposits - deposits are based on a sliding scale of the total cost of your event – they may be paid by credit card, personal check, cashier’s check or money order - please ask your Event Specialist if your event requires a deposit
Tastings
  • We would be happy to accommodate a tasting for your event – please ask your Event Specialist on the requirements for scheduling a tasting
  • Tastings are scheduled with your Event Specialist and our Executive Chef - we do require a proposal be sent out to any client before a tasting is scheduled
